That's the topic for tonight's 9:53 ramble.
I recently had a substitute in one of my classes - for the last two days. He is a very nice person, and I remember having him as a substitute teacher previously; we bonded then and had a pretty nice conversation about both of our foreign heritages. Not enough of a lasting conversation for him to remember me, though.
I am convinced he is a member of the CIA.
In the beginning of class on the first day this week I had him as a substitute teacher, I asked him for a pass to the bathroom. Now, let's establish that he did not look at the class roster while filling out my pass. Somehow, he managed to write both my first and last name and spell them correctly. Creepy, no? Nonetheless, I adore the man. He is by far the coolest.
There have been multiple occasions when this man has exhibited CIA-esque behavior before, and thus this is not just in my mind. Just last year, he encountered a student - a friend of mine - at the student's place of employment. I believe they had never formally encountered on any other occasion, but this man knew the student's first and last name. He then proceeded to inform the student's manager of how hard of a worker he was and how good of a student he was. ( Prime points for student! :] ) -eerie music plays-
Draw your own conclusions.
Peace, love, and harmony.
